I was just a little boy
The day they left me here
I know that someone misses me
I know that someone cares

I don't want you to forget me
I don't want you to go
Someone there knows who I am
Someone there must knowI know

 that someone loved me
Don't know if they were scared
They wrapped me in a blanket
Cut my nails and my hair

I remember I was hungry
And I didn't get to play
They put me in the dumpster
And then just walked away

As I lay here on this bed
The months turn into years
There must be someone out there
Who still is shedding tears

I want the one who loved me
And I felt safe in their arms
They said they loved me so so much
And would ever cause me harm .

I want them to come back for me
I need to feel a touch
I want someone to say "my baby
I've missed you so much

"They will not let me out of here
Until they know my name
I know I had a family
That's who I need to claim

If someone saw this done to me
Through a window or a door
Tell them please, just what you know
They will not ask for more

I am here so all alone
I want a resting place
Please leave a note with someone
You don't have to show your face.

Any little bit will help
To find out who I am
Please don't be afraid to say
Please just take my hand

My name for now is Amado
I'm so thankful they came by
I thought I was forgotten
Forever here to lie.
